My Dance Life:
I started dancing at the age of 4 and kept dancing competitively until i was 21. through the ages of 4-21 i attended competitions all over Canada and the United States. I took RAD Ballet exams and ADAPT Tap/jazz exams as a student. My love for dance didn't end there so i decided to get certified and start my teaching journey. I started as an assistant teacher in 2015, then officially started teaching in 2016. I have taught and assisted all genres and ages at many studios in Grayson, Regina, Weyburn, Balcarres and Fort Qu'Appelle. This will be my 6th season with Prairie Soles School of Dance.
Dance Teacher Education:
Adapt Teacher Certified in Tap/Jazz - since 2016
Acrobatic Arts Module one certified - since 2024
About me:
I am 30 years old and live on an acreage about 7 km outside of Fort Qu'Appelle with my daughter Aspen, partner Garret and our dog RIP. If I am not dancing or teaching you'll find me tending to my plants, reading and spending time with my family and friends. I love iced coffee, pizza and a good movie.

Miss Janika

Assistant Teacher
About me:
I am 14 years old and going into grade 9 at North Valley High. I live on a farm outside of Neudorf with my parents, two brothers, one sister, and our silver lab, Poppy. This will be my 7th year of dance and my 1st year dancing with Prairie Soles.
My other hobbies include playing volleyball, binge watching Netflix, baking, cleaning, listening to Morgan Wallen, and camping with friends.
My favorite dances are contemporary and lyrical.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone and I am also excited to be helping with Tiny Tots and Mini Hip Hop groups this year!
Miss Zienna

Assistant Teacher
I am currently 14, going into grade 9. I have always lived in Indian Head.
I started dancing when I was 4. I completed a total of 6 years of dance with Indian Head School of Dance, two years with Dance Plus in Regina, and two years with Prairie Soles, currently entering into my third year with this group. I have also completed two years of the Jazz exam class. When I was younger I danced one year of jingle which is a traditional first nations style of dancing, and would like to get back into dancing fancy in the future.
My favorite styles of dance are contemporary, lyrical, and jazz.
My hobbies include dance, softball, quadding, nails and lashes, reading, snowboarding, hiking (specifically in Yellowknife), and visiting my family in Kelowna.
Miss Kelsey

Assistant Teacher
Hello, my name is Kelsey Krupski. I am 15 years old and going into grade 10 at North Valley High School in Lemberg.
I am extremely excited to "officially" be part of the team at Prairie Soles. Last year, I was fortunate enough to be asked to fill-in for a member of the Senior Lyrical Group to perform at the Defeet Dance Challenge in Weyburn.
This will be my 11th year of dance and my 1st year dancing with Prairie Soles.
When I am not at dance, my other interests are volleyball, golfing, snowmobiling, camping, and hunting.
I would have to say that lyrical and tap are my favorite dances, but i also enjoy dancing in ballet, jazz, and contemporary.
This year, I have the opportunity to help with Mini Ballet/Jazz and Tiny Tots dance groups.
Miss Brynn

Assistant Teacher
My name is Brynn and I am 16 years old. I dance at Prairie Soles Dance. I have been dancing since the age of 2, and dance has become the biggest parts of my life. Most people describe me as an outgoing, bubbly teenager who brings energy and positivity wherever i go.
Outside of dance, I also enjoy playing softball, golfing and singing. I come from a busy and supportive family, with an older sister who is in college, and a younger brother who plays many sports. I also have two dogs.
This past year at Prairie Soles, I trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, acro, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. I also perform two solos each year-tap and musical theater-which are my favorite styles to perform.
In the summer of 2024 I took my ADAPT teacher assistant. As a dance instructor assistant, I had the opportunity to work with students ages 2-13 in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, acro, and musical theater. I often led warmups at the beginning of class, assisted with choreography, and shared my won ideas and inputs. I also worked with students outside of regular class time, offering private lessons after school to help them build confidence and master choreography.
Dance has been such a huge part of my life, and I'm excited to continue learning, performing, and sharing my passion with others.
Miss Katherine

Assistant Teacher
My Dance Career:
My name is Katherine Randle and i have been dancing since i was 3 years old. I started with the Medicine Hat College Conservatory of Music and Dance and then moved to the Medicine Hat School of Performing Arts. When my family and I moved to Indian Head I joined Balgonie Dance and Twirl for three years. in 2020 I moved to Prairie Soles, continuing my dance journey. I had the opportunity to start assisting with the Mini classes in 2022. I have so many positive experiences and memories made at dance and I want to pass on that attitude in class environment to the younger dancers. My role in the classes is to keep the class running smoothly so that Miss Amber and Miss Rebecca can fully spend their energy teaching the dancers.
Dance Education:
In the summer of 2023 I took the ADAPT assistant teaching program as a way to further my education in a dance setting and make my time in the studio more effective and impactful.
About me:
As of this summer I have turned 17 and I'm starting my grade 12 year at IHHS. When I'm not at dance I spend my time playing piano, doing lights for the high school drama club and hanging out with my cat, family, and friends. I always find time for listening to music, reading, and going on walks. Lately I have been using my creativity to make different crafts, including paintings, clay creatures, and embroidery for myself and the people i care for. Between all my other activities I am co-running a cotton candy business with my cousin.
